45 Minute Great Salt Lake Boat Tour
Overview
Exclusive Excursions is happy be on The Great Salt Lake, which is the saltiest body of water in the Western Hemisphere. Come enjoy this experience by actually going out on the lake rather than just seeing it from the shore. We will do a short boat ride around the marina area, hear some stories, history and jokes about the lake, and even do a few demonstrations. And of course have time for a good picture or two.
Since it’s only 45 minutes and the lake is so big and wide, we just stay within a mile of the marina and this tour is not a high speed boat ride because the captain likes to give commentary the whole time. Some people complain that we don’t go fast or farther out in the lake so this is why.
Yes the great salt lake has bugs near the marina. They don’t bite but can swarm at times. We give you hats with nets to keep them out of your face so please take one so they don’t “bug” you. Give us a call if you want an update about the current bug situation since it always changes.

We are located at the Great Salt Lake State Park. Best way to get directions to us is to put “Great Salt Lake State Park” in your Smartphone. At the park, once you drive past the pay booth, look for a big sign that says “Great Salt Lake State Park” to your left and we are located in the brown building behind that sign.

Since these are group tours and with our tight schedule and out of respect for others, IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER YOUR TOUR START TIME EVEN BY 1 MINUTE, WE WILL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU AND TOUR WILL BE NONREFUNDABLE NOR NONTRANSFERABLE. Don’t bother calling us If you are running late, it won’t help. Please give yourself 30 mins of time to get here. There is plenty to do to explore if you get here early.
