Board the world-famous Bernina Express, a unique panoramic train. This extraordinary journey traverses breathtaking scenery, with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains, glittering glaciers and enchanting Alpine valleys. The UNESCO World Heritage route of the Bernina Express offers an unforgettable experience as the train climbs to an altitude of 2,253 metres on the Bernina Pass, one of the highest points reached by a railway in Europe. Passengers will be able to enjoy the panorama thanks to the large windows in the carriages, designed to offer a full view of the landscape. During the journey, the train will pass iconic sites such as Lake Bianco and the helical viaduct of Brusio, guaranteeing indelible memories. The highest point of the itinerary! It opens up before you a landscape of immense beauty, so much so that it has inspired many romantic writers in the past. Touch the sky with a finger and enjoy the breathtaking panorama.

A glacier front terrace! Alp Grüm embodies a blend of romance, adventure, and curiosity. In the complete quiet of the natural surroundings, broken only by the chatter of weary travelers, you can't help but feel disconnected from the world while gazing up at the majestic Piz Palü.

It's time for a ride! The train will transit on the Brusio Spiral Viaduct.

Tirano is a small corner of Italy, on the border with neighboring Switzerland, with authentic flavors and slow rhythms. The largest Basilica in Valtellina is located here. This is the Bernina Express' last stop.
