Explore a game Drive Safari in the renowned Maduru Oya National Park, known for its Asian Elephant habitat. This day trip provides a thrilling half-day wildlife safari where you can witness a spectacular herd of Elephants, as well as other iconic wildlife such as Leopards, Sloth Bears, Sāmbhar, Spotted and Barking Deer, Wild Boar, and Wild Buffalo.
This particular national park is not as heavily frequented by tourists, allowing you to observe and be inspired by the natural behaviors of wild animals in a serene and enjoyable manner. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with a group of Veddas, the indigenous people who reside within the confines of Maduru Oya National Park, and spend a delightful time with them until evening. Subsequently, we will return to Ella before nightfall.
