At this point we will begin the visit. Here you can see the Statue of the Custodian of San Rafael and the Roman Bridge Gate.

Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, one of the primary residences of Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon. Enter through the main entrance gate and immerse yourself in the wonderful architecture of the palace, located on the site of a fortress built by the Visigoths and later occupied by the Caliphate of Cordoba.

We will walk around the Jewish Quarter to visit the Synagogue, Arabic market and bronze statue of the medieval Sephardic philosopher, Maimonides.

Visit the spectacular beauty of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, one of the most visited monuments in Spain. Conserving the decorative style of an Islamic mosque, construction of the magnificent monument began in the 8th century. Later extensions vastly increased its size, turning it into the second biggest mosque in the world before it became a Catholic cathedral.

Important note: Due to renovations, interior rooms at the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos are closed. The visit will include the historic gardens, the Columbus monument, and the Caliphal Baths — a unique space reflecting the splendour of Córdoba’s Islamic past.
