Itinerary

Stop 1

This square was the centerpiece of the reconstruction that took place after the earthquake of 1755 which has reduced Lisbon to rubble. In a privilege location, facing the river, this is the most popular square in Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe.

Stop 2

The oldest medieval church that survived to the earthquake. Ticket to the monument is not included.

Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood and the most charming one, it’s considered the historic soul of Lisbon and its steep, cobblestoned lanes stand just as they were in medieval times.

Stop 4

The Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara is one of the largest and most iconic observation points in Lisbon. It’s right next to the top of the Elevador da Glória and offers a special panorama of the city.

Stop 5

This square was once Lisbon’s main marketplace. It was home to a covered market, which was built in 1885 and demolished in the 1950s. In its place, a bronze equestrian statue of King João I was erected.

One of the most stunning views of Lisbon is from this picturesque viewpoint. It's an excellent spot for taking in the city's beauty and capturing memorable photos.

Stop 11

This lively neighbourhood known for its vibrant nightlife and bohemian atmosphere. It's the perfect place to soak up Lisbon's eclectic charm.

Stop 12

Possible on the 3- or 4-hours tours. Was once a sordid quarter where brothels sidled up to sweaty clubs and suddenly became the most vibrant neighbourhood in town, home to live music, burlesque shows and great tapas bars and restaurants.

Stop 13

Possible on the 3- or 4-hours tours. Located below The 25th of April Bridge along the river in Alcântara, Baixa and Belém is one of the city's most popular places to relax.

Stop 14

Possible on the 3- or 4-hours tours. One of Lisbon’s most notable ex-libris! This steel suspension bridge across the Tagus River is often compared with the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Such as the Oriente Foundation, the Jerónimos Monastery, the Champalimaud Foundation, the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Electricity Museum and the MAAT.

Possible on the 3- or 4-hours tours. You can see it from the outside or buy the ticket to visit inside. Ticket to the monument is not included.

Stop 16

Possible on the 3- or 4-hours tours. Belém Neighbourhood: This is the monumental historic district of the Age of Discovery, here you’ll find the magnificent World Heritage monuments, wonderful parks, gardens and the Tagus River as landscape. For centuries Portugal was one of the largest nations in the world and this area will always be remembered and exalted as the seaport of the Age of Discovery. Ticket to the monument is not included.

Stop 17

Possible on the 3- or 4-hours tours. Belém Tower: Built on the northern bank of the Tagus between 1514 and 1520, the Tower of Belém is one of the architectural jewels of the reign of the King Manuel I. Ticket to the monument is not included.
