During the colonial era, Lima was the seat of religious power in the region, presided over by this imposing Cathedral. Its facade is truly magnificent, showcasing breathtaking art and architecture. As the site of the city's oldest and most significant religious ceremonies, it remains a favorite for local weddings. The Plaza de Armas is another highlight! Its architecture reflects a profound Spanish influence from the colonial era; the square is surrounded by a beautiful central garden and some of the first mansions, palaces, and grand estates built in South America. Before arriving at the plaza, we will stroll down Ancash Street to visit the 'Happy Inka Market.' There, you can appreciate the beautiful craftsmanship of local artisans—including indigenous carvings and textiles—and find the perfect souvenir to remember your visit to Lima!

Next, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the most important residence in the country: the Government Palace. This is where the President of Peru lives and works! We’ll provide an in-depth explanation of its grand architecture and historical significance. After exploring the vibrant Jirón de la Unión, we will make our way through Ucayali and Lampa streets. These historic corridors offer a perfect window into the city's past, allowing us to learn about the daily life and traditions of Lima's people. Our journey continues to one of the city's most breathtaking landmarks: the Monastery of San Francisco and its fascinating underground catacombs. Here, we will dive into the history of Lima’s inhabitants during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. This is truly one of the highlights that will make your visit unforgettable!"

We will enjoy lunch in Miraflores before continuing our exploration of this iconic district. Our first stop is the romantic 'Parque del Amor' (Love Park), home to a striking sculpture by the renowned Peruvian artist Victor Delfín. From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Pacific coast. Afterward, we’ll head to the heart of the district: Parque Kennedy. As we stroll through the park, we’ll share stories about its fascinating history and, of course, meet the famous resident cats that have made this park their home!

We'll continue our journey at one of the city's highest vantage points: the historic Morro Solar in the Chorrillos district. Standing at 300 meters above sea level, this landmark offers a spectacular panoramic view of the bay. Next, we’ll head to the bohemian and artistic heart of Lima: Barranco. Despite being the city’s smallest district, it is bursting with character. We’ll visit the main plaza and the romantic, mythical 'Puente de los Suspiros' (Bridge of Sighs). We will also wander through the neighborhood's traditional narrow streets to admire the vibrant murals and street art that make this area so unique.

Our journey continues to a traditional local market in the Surquillo district, the authentic pantry of Lima. Here, we will discover the incredible variety of produce grown and harvested across our land and dive into the secrets of Peruvian gastronomy. You’ll have the chance to taste exotic fruits and flavors brought from Peru’s three distinct natural regions: the Coast, the Andes, and the Amazon!
