- This is the admission fee to enter the inner grounds of Kita-in Temple. Visiting the inside is optional, and the fee is 400 yen.
- Please note that food and drink purchases during the tour are not included and should be paid for individually.
- Please note that transportation to the meeting point (Toki no Kane) and from the ending point (Kashiya Yokocho) to your home is not included and should be covered by each participant.

Itinerary

Stop 1
We’ll introduce the history of Toki no Kane (Time Bell Tower) and some popular local snacks around the area. You’ll have about 30 minutes after the explanation to explore and enjoy the sights on your own!

Stop 2
We’ll introduce the history of Kita-in Temple. If you’re interested, you can also enter the temple grounds for a small fee of 400 yen.

Stop 3
This street is filled with food stalls and souvenir shops, perfect for strolling and snacking. We’ll end the tour here, so take your time and enjoy all that Kashiya Yokocho has to offer!
Meeting & End Point

Meeting Point
We’ll meet at Kita-in Temple, a famous historical site in Kawagoe.
Look for someone holding a sign that says “Discover Kawagoe with Japanese Students” and feel free to say hello!

End Point
We’ll finish the tour at Kashiya Yokocho, a traditional candy alley about a 30-minute walk from Kita-in Temple.
After that, feel free to enjoy strolling around and trying local sweets with your fellow participants!
