Overview

Next, visit the 13th-century Monastery of Paleokastritsa, set on a hill with beautiful coastal views. Your guide will share key historical details. Please note that reaching the monastery may require a short 15-minute uphill walk due to local conditions.

You’ll then head to Corfu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided walk through its streets, followed by an hour of free time to explore, or try local Greek dishes.

Your excursion starts with a scenic drive to Paleokastritsa, one of Corfu’s most beloved coastal spots. Famous for its bright turquoise waters, steep cliffs, and rich greenery, it offers incredible views and a peaceful environment perfect for sightseeing or unwinding. Here, you will enjoy a 45-minute boat trip on a traditional wooden boat. The cruise follows the shoreline and, if weather conditions and cave access allow, takes you into the sea caves - an unforgettable highlight and a great opportunity for photos.

Stop 3

Next, you’ll visit the Monastery of Paleokastritsa, a 13th-century Byzantine site perched above the coastline. From its hilltop setting, you’ll enjoy wide views of the sea as your guide shares the monastery’s history and the stories linked to this quiet, scenic place. Please note that if vehicles cannot reach the top, getting to the monastery may require a short 15-minute uphill walk.

Afterward, you’ll continue to Corfu Town, the island’s historic center and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its narrow cobblestone streets, Venetian-style architecture, and lively squares lead you to well-known landmarks like the Old Fortress and the Liston Promenade. You’ll take a guided walk through the town and then have around an hour of free time to explore on your own.
