Reach the summit by taking a funicular or cable car to the top and be rewarded with expansive vistas of the city skyline and the majestic views of the Andes mountain range. At the summit, you will find a towering statue of the Virgin Mary, known as the Virgen del Cerro San Cristóbal. This iconic monument serves as a symbol of protection for the city (except on Mondays) Visitors can explore the area around the statue and appreciate its religious and cultural significance. Please be aware that this activity is not available on Monday because both cable-car and gondola lift is under maintenance. Instead, you can ride the shuttle bus to the top or enjoy an ice-cream or coffee.
