Itinerary

We begin this experience near Linz Castle with a walk through Schlosspark, where you will enjoy a picturesque view of the Danube River.

Stop 3

Your Private Guide will entertain you with interesting historical facts but also legends and fairy tales. You will hear the story of how Mozart composed the Linz Symphony as you pass his former residence, and see important landmarks such as the New Cathedral and the Old Cathedral, where you can admire sacred art from the 17th century.

Stop 4

The walking tour will end in Hauptplatz, where the guide will show you the Old Town Hall, Neptune’s Fountain and the famous Pöstlingbergbahn.

Stop 5

Pöstlingbergbahn, a narrow-gauge electric railway that connects Linz’s main square with Pöstlingberg. Both adults and children will enjoy this railway ride and the amazing views over the city.

Stop 6

Grottenbahn, the secret adventure world of dwarves. Children of all ages love this attraction! You can ride on the dragon train through the land of the dwarfs and explore the fairy-tale village of gnomes, witches, fairies and other magical creatures.
