Betty's Hope is a historic sugar plantation site located in Antigua, Established in 1650s by Sir Christopher Codrington, it was one of the island earliest sugar plantations and became one of its largest and most productive. The plantation was named "Betty's Hope" after Codrington's daughter and served as a key part of the island's sugar industry, relying heavily on the labour of enslaved Africans for its operation.
