Chichén Itzá is a complex of Mayan ruins on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. A massive step pyramid, known as El Castillo or Temple of Kukulcan, dominates the ancient city, which thrived from around 600 A.D. to the 1200s. Graphic stone carvings survive at structures like the ball court, Temple of the Warriors and the Wall of the Skulls. Nightly sound-and-light shows illuminate the buildings' sophisticated geometry.

Ik Kil is a cenote outside Pisté in the Tinúm Municipality, Yucatán, Mexico. The cenote is open to the sky with the water level about 26 metres (85 ft) below ground level. There is a carved stairway that leads down to a swimming platform. Ik Kil was considered sacred by the Mayans who used the site as a location for human sacrifice to their rain god, Chaac.

Located outside the charming town of Valladolid in southeast Mexico, Suytun Cenote is a breathtaking natural sinkhole that attracts many travelers. The highlight is the middle platform of the cenote, which offers a stunning photo op, especially when rays of sunlight shine through the cave opening above. Just remember to bring a camera that can handle the low light.

• Booster Seats: For state law, Children under the age of 6 require a booster seat in order to participate in the tour group. Please understand that the violations and fines are borne by the guests themselves. There is no need for a booster seat for bus travel on the day of travel.
