This 4×4 tour takes you through the main valley of Wadi Rum's Protected Area, making stops at the important landmarks and panoramic viewpoints. You have time at each stop to explore on foot, scramble up the rocks, walk to viewpoints and take photographs. Some tour highlights include visiting Khazali Canyon to see ancient petroglyphs and inscriptions, and taking a self-guided walk through Abu Khashaba Canyon for 20-30 minutes. You'll also get to see sights of the desert such as Ain Abu Aineh (Lawrence Spring), the Red Sand Dune, Little Rock Bridge and Um Fruth Rock Bridge.

Guiding fees by Jordanian authorities is 90 Jod per day or any part of the day in addition of overnight and other expenses. For hike tours it 150 Jod per day or any part of the day in addition of overnights and other expenses. No matter the number of pax / group members. The guiding fees are the same. Transportation could be arranged according to pax numbers upon confirmation and personal contact with me (your guide).

In our 4×4 jeep tour you will visit the most famous sights of Wadi Rum together with one our Bedouin guides. On every site there is enough time to wander around, scramble on the rocks, ask questions to your guide about Bedouin life in the desert and make beautiful photos. Our guides are from the Bedouin al Zalahbieh tribe who have been living here for centuries and will teach you everything you want to know about our culture, living in the desert and our traditions. If you want you can start or finish your tour with a camel ride of 30, 60 or 120 minutes for an extra 15, 20 or 35 JD. Before or after your tour you have the option to stay overnight in our family-run traditional Bedouin camp where we will provide you with a big dinner and breakfast buffet. We have private tents, with shared bathroom (hot water + western style toilets). In our communal tent guests can enjoy WIFI, Bedouin tea and coffee, a charging station for all your electronics, a telescope and jaw dropping views.

The trip starts from the village. You will visit the Nabatean temple first then go to Lawrence’s of Arabia Spring. After that, you will have a short stop where you can enjoy and climb the golden sand dunes. After, we will drive to Lawrance’s House and Mahama Canyon where you can go on foot if you want an half an hour walk to see the beautiful formations of the canyon combined with the green plants from place to place. In the afternoon we will visit Jebel Burdah arch and Um Fruth arch where you can climb the natural bridge (20 m high) and have a beautiful view from up top as to the Little Bridge as well. Before reaching the camp we will stop at Khazali Canyon which is famous for the beautiful ancient nabateen inscription, driving slowly to the spot where you can see an amazing sunset over the desert. After the sunset we will be driving slowly towards Rum Village.
