Overview
Gulangyu Island, one of the World Heritages in China, is renown for the old buildings and nice sceneries. This private day tour will let you explore Gulangyu Island with a local guide. Moreover, you can select one of these attractions to visit: Zhongshan Road, South Putuo Temple, or Hulishan Battery Scenic Spot. Please note we will refund you if no ferry ticket is available due to the limitation of the visitors on the Gulangyu Island.
Centrally located Xiamen hotel pickup and drop-off are included, and pickup time is 8am, please bring passport for the tour.

Itinerary

Stop 1
At 8am, you will be picked up from your hotel and move to the port to catch the 10-minute ferry to Gulangyu Island which is a World Cultural Heritage with old buildings. On the nice small island, you will walk to Sunshine Rock, Shuzhuang Garden, and Piano Museum etc. with a local guide, Afterwards, You will take ferry back to Xiamen city. You can choose one of these attractions to visit as you wish. South Putuo Temple It was built first build in Tang Dynasty (618-907AD) as the most renown temple in the town. Zhongshan Road It is a shopping street to sell all sorts of goods as one of the well-known pedestrian streets in China. Hulishan Battery Scenic Spot It used to be a strategically located place for cannons and batteries in the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). There are huge cannons, the stone gates, city walls, watchtowers and trenches are well-preserved.
