Stop 1
Standing on this former public executions square, the Hôtel de Ville was built during the the mid XVIth and XVIIth centuries While the Louvre was also in Construction. It was burned during the final days of the Paris Commune in May 1871. It has since been rebuilt and now houses the Paris City Hall.

Discovering the oldest church in the area with its Baroque facade and late gothic interior. The church was bombed during the first world war.

The Hôtel de Sens was a medieval private mansion, One of the last of its kind in Le Marais. It nowadays houses the Paris art library.

The Place des Vosges originally Place Royale, is the oldest planned square in Paris.
