We will begin our tour at the Mater Private Hospital, the site of 7 Eccles Street, the home of Leopold Bloom.
Our next stop is George's Church featured in the Calypso episode: "A creak and a dark whirr in the air high up. The bells of George's church. They tolled the hour: loud dark iron." Joyce walked by this church everyday on his way to school.
The school attended by Joyce and Stephen Dedalus.
We will visit the home of Oliver St John Gogarty, the inspiration for Buck Mulligan.
Discuss the legacy of Parnell and his repeated appearance in the works of Joyce.
