Itinerary

1
Stop 1
Our tour guide and experienced drivers will pick you up at your hotel. After a short safety briefing, we’ll head to St. Joseph’s Cathedral — one of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks. You’ll have time to take photos and enjoy some local snacks such as Nem Chua Nuong (grilled fermented pork rolls) and Banh Goi (Vietnamese empanadas) in a charming nearby alley. Built in 1884, St. Joseph’s Cathedral was designed in a style reminiscent of Notre Dame de Paris. When it officially opened in December 1886, it became one of the first structures constructed by the French colonial government in Indochina. Today, it remains the oldest church in Hanoi and serves as the spiritual center for the city’s Catholic community.
2
Stop 2
Next, we’ll continue our drive into the Old Quarter of Hanoi, where you’ll take a short walking tour from the Cảm Tử Monument to Hàng Bè Market. This is a great opportunity to explore a local food market and experience the daily life of Hanoians. Here, you’ll get to taste some delicious Nem (spring rolls) ,Banh Tom (crispy shrimp cakes) or Chim Nuong (Roasted pigeon) — two of the city’s most popular street foods.
3
Stop 3
Your Vespa driver will take you deep into the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you can admire the famous 36 ancient streets, each known for its own specialty goods and vibrant atmosphere. Along the way, we’ll make stops for you to taste some local favorites — including Banh Mi (Vietnamese baguette sandwich mix with cheese, grilled beef or chicken) and Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli, fish sauce, green papaya, fresh salad).
4
Stop 4
Leaving the Old Quarter, your driver will take you to Truc Bach Lake, also known by its nickname “John McCain Lake.” Here, you’ll enjoy one of Hanoi’s most unique local specialties — Pho Cuon (fresh rice noodle rolls with medium-cooked beef, Fried garlic, green Dalat salad & cilantro), a light yet flavorful dish that perfectly represents the city’s culinary creativity.
5
Stop 5
Your driver will take you on a scenic night ride around West Lake, one of Hanoi’s most romantic spots after dark. You’ll have the chance to stop along Thanh Nien Street to enjoy the cool evening breeze and sample some local treats such as Bo Bia (sweet spring rolls) — a favorite snack among young Hanoians while admire John Mc Cain monument. The ride then continues past Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, before returning to the city center for a memorable cup of egg coffee — a must-try beverage that perfectly concludes your Hanoi Vespa adventure. Returning to your hotel at around 9:30 pm.
