Note: The Maid of the Mist closes from early November to mid April. During the season when the Boat is closed we replace this tour with our Autumn/Winter Tour with Winery. It includes the Cave of the Winds Gorge Walk, a Wine Tasting with appetizer (1 per 2 customers) a bakery stop, and the Niagara Observation Tower.

Itinerary

Stop 1

Maid of the Mist is a great way to see the falls as the boat travels deep into the heart of the Falls, there is nothing like the power of Niagara and being that close. Guests will board the boat, which lasts around 30 minutes while also having an opportunity to see the falls from terrific viewing points. The total time spent here will average around 2 hours. (The Maid of the Mist Boat ride is closed for the Winter Season November 3th-April)

Stop 2

The Cave of the Winds trip takes you closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you thought possible. The rushing waters loom above you, dousing you with a generous spray as you face the thundering Falls head-on. This attraction takes around 45 minutes depending on how busy it is at that time. The Cave of the winds is located on Goat Island where you will spend around an hour and a half visiting the cave and seeing various sights and viewing points on the island.

Stop 3

Niagara Falls USA Observation Tower provides the only panoramic view of all three Niagara Falls, including the American Falls.

This is the best view to see the horseshoe falls from the American side. It is the largest of the 3 waterfalls and this view should not be missed by guests to Niagara Falls, USA

Stop 7

For a multi-sensory view of the American Falls, visitors can go to the base of the gorge and climb a series of stairs to the Crow's Nest, where the views come with bracing blasts of misty Niagara spray. Closed for winter season Nov to April
