This unique park is a land of extremes that will surprise and delight you. Colorful mountains frame the valley which is the second lowest point on Earth, second only to the Dead Sea. The valley floor is 282 feet (86m) below sea level. It is the driest, lowest and hottest National Park. In fact, it is the hottest place on our planet in the summer. Our tours travel to Death Valley National Park in the Fall, Winter and Spring. The valley offers features like nowhere else, including Devil’s Golf Course, Artists Drive, Zabriskie Point, and Badwater Basin. Enjoy colorfully layered mountains, sand dunes, salt flats and other unusual features. Stop at the Visitor Center and Museum to learn more about the topography, history and wildlife of Death Valley. Also enjoy a visit to Rhyolite Ghost Town for some fascinating photos of stone buildings, railroad depot and even some local ghosts.

Itinerary

Stop 1

Drive 50 minutes from Rhyolite into Death Valley National Park to Furnace Creek Visitor Center, to stop for about 30 minutes. Stop at the Visitor Center and Museum to learn more about the topography, history and wildlife of Death Valley.

Stop 2

Continue for about 30 minutes to Badwater Basin.. Colorful mountains frame the valley which is the second lowest point on Earth, second only to the Dead Sea. The valley floor is 282 feet (86m) below sea level. It is the driest, lowest and hottest National Park. In fact, it is the hottest place on our planet in the summer.

Stop 3

After a 15-minute drive, you'll arrive at Devil's Golf Course, one of the most unusual landscapes you will ever see.

Stop 4

After a 20-minute drive, marvel at the unique set of desert colors at Artist's Palette

Stop 5

Depart Death Valley for a 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Pahrump, Nevada for a brief rest stop before continuing another 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Las Vegas.

If roads are closed due to weather or other conditions that prohibit us from entering an area of the tour, we will do our best to provide the best route and/or alternate locations and timing to be able to continue to provide the best tour possible. If it is not possible to provide a planned inclusion of the tour with an admission cost, a partial refund will be offered to the guests, minus a processing fee. If the tour still takes place with a portion of the planned itinerary, guests will not receive a refund, other than from excluded admissions.
