Arctic Circle Tour from Fairbanks Dalton Highway Summer Day Trip
Overview
Journey north from Fairbanks along the Dalton Highway, one of the most remote roads in North America and a working industrial route through Alaska’s far north, to the Arctic Circle.
You’ll spend the day moving deeper into Alaska’s Interior as forest, river valleys, pipeline views, and open northern landscapes unfold along the route. We make several scenic stops for photos, fresh air, and short walks throughout the day, including time at the Arctic Circle sign at 66°33′N.
This summer Arctic Circle tour from Fairbanks is a road-based sightseeing experience designed for travelers who want to see a remote part of Alaska without rushing through the journey. Your guide shares ongoing commentary on the Dalton Highway, Trans-Alaska Pipeline, boreal forest, permafrost, wildlife habitat, and life in Alaska’s Interior.
