Itinerary

Our driver will pickup at the Edinburgh location of your choice and we will start our journey here.

First stop is Dean Village, where you can take a photo on Dean's Bridge designed by Thomas Telford. This town was created to be an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life whilst still being located in the city.

Arthur's Seat is an ancient volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh, Scotland, which form most of Holyrood Park.

Rosslyn Chapel, which was built by the St Clair's. This is one of the most beautiful chapels in Scotland where you can marvel at the architecture. Famous for featuring in the Da Vinci Code movie.

The Sheep Heid Inn is famously known as the oldest surviving public house in Scotland having been established in 1360. The perfect stop for some lunch Or option to Visit The Original Rosslyn Inn Grill for some food

Craigmillar Castle is a ruined medieval castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. Mary Queen Of Scot's once stayed here, and this is the location where her husband was poisoned to death.

We'll walk through the Grassmarket to Victoria Street. With its unusual shape and collection of quirky shops, its often said to be the inspiration of Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter series. JK Rowling wrote most of the books while living here in Edinburgh and took inspiration from all around her.

Greyfriars Bobby is a very famous dog in Scotland. He was a Skye Terrier who became known in the 19th century for (as legend has it) spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner, until his own death on 14 January 1872.

Stop 12
Edinburgh Castle is a historic castle in Edinburgh, Scotland, that stands on Castle Rock. This is the most besieged castle in the UK. Inside the grounds you'll find St Margaret's Chapel, which the oldest building in Edinburgh from 836. Requires to be prebooked as this can be fully booked during peak season. Please reach out to NATC if you intend to tour the castle or you can select the option to visit and take photos but not enter the grounds

Stop 13
St Giles' Cathedral, or the High Kirk of Edinburgh, is a parish church of the Church of Scotland. The late Queen Elizabeth lay in state here. In the Cathedral you will find the Knights of the Thistle Chapel, the most high and noble order.

Stop 14
To complete the tour our driver will drop you back off at your Edinburgh drop of location. We will drive back to Edinburgh for your drop off which is a 1 hour drive back over the queensferry crossing
