Stop 1
We will meet outside Haymarket metro station to have a look at this side of the city , which includes the famous City Council for its huge sculptures and brutalist architecture. We will talk also about the history of the two universities of the city and war memorials

we will walk along one of the most famous street of the city centre to arrive to Monument

Stop 3
We will arrive to Monument , one of the main attractions of the city and from there we will focus our visit to discover Granger town with its beautiful Royal theatre , Granger street , The Arcade, Granger market and its local products

We will walk to St Nicholas cathedral ( we will not visit it indoor) and its interesting surroundings

We will walk to Newcastle castle , the important building that has given the name to the city . We will visit the outside of the castle ( no ticket is include din this tour to visit the interior). We will talk about the long history of the area started with the Roman invasions

From the castle we will walk down the River to admire the beautiful Quayside with its 7 bridges and buildings. End of the tour
