Stop 1

Wat Chedi Luang is a significant Buddhist temple situated at the heart of Chiang Mai’s Old City in Thailand. Its name translates to “Temple of the Big Stupa”, indicating its importance and the grand structure it possesses. Wat Chedi Luang is over 600 years old, and while parts are damaged and under restoration, it remains one of Chiang Mai’s most revered temples. This temple holds a special place among the many temples in Chiang Mai, attracting a large number of visitors with its unique characteristics and historical importance.

Stop 2

Wat Sri Suphan is also known as the Silver Temple because the entire surface of the temple, inside and out, is being covered in sparkling silver handcrafted decoration. Originally built around 1500 Wat Sri Suphan is also one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai.

Stop 3

Wat Lok Moli is renowned for its striking architecture and serene atmosphere. The temple, believed to date back to the 14th century, is notable for its large, brick chedi (stupa), which stands majestically in the temple grounds and houses ancient relics. Unlike many other temples in Chiang Mai, its main viharn (prayer hall) faces north, which is uncommon and adds to its unique character. Wat Lok Moli is adorned with intricate wood carvings and traditional Lanna-style designs. The surrounding gardens and peaceful setting make it an excellent spot for quiet reflection. While it is less crowded than some of Chiang Mai's more famous temples, it remains a significant site for those interested in history, architecture, and Buddhist culture.

Warorot Market (locally known as Kad Luang) is one of Chiang Mai's oldest and most vibrant markets, offering an authentic glimpse into local Thai life. Located near the Ping River, it is a bustling hub for shopping, dining, and cultural exploration. The market is famous for its wide variety of goods, including fresh produce, street food, spices, clothing, handicrafts, and souvenirs. It's a great place to sample Northern Thai delicacies such as sai ua (spicy sausage), nam prik (chili dips), and traditional sweets.
