Itinerary

Stop 1
Your guide will meet you at River City Gate 1- in front of Starbuck on the 1st floor.

Stop 2
Head off through the narrow lanes of Talad Noi, a historic neighbourhood in Bangkok. And explore an area that’s been home to Chinese communities for over 300 year. Your guide will then lead you to taste and try the local recipes that fuse Chinese and Thai influences, like turnip cake, chwee kueh (a steamed rice cake) and more.

Stop 3
Your first stop will be at the Holy Rosary Church, a beautiful European style Roman Catholic church built in Gothic Revival style by Portuguese settlers.

Stop 4
Once you’ve had your fill, visit the Chow Sue Kong Shrine, a more than 200-year-old Hokkien shrine, that stands as a haven of peace and devotion. There you can ask for blessings for well-being, protection, and guidance.

Next is another historic building, the Sol Heng Tai Mansion, one of the last remaining traditional Chinese houses in Bangkok.

Stop 6
Then get transported to the present as you visit the gallery of a local artist and stop in at a cafe beside the Chao Pharaya River, housed in a building that dates to the reign of King Rama II and the Rattanakosin era. Hong Sieng Kong is a retro Chinese-style café located in the Talat Noi neighborhood of Bangkok. The café is housed in a nearly 200-year-old building that once served as a hub for rice trading with China.

Stop 7
Finally, you’ll cross into Bangkok’s Chinatown, the largest Chinatowns in the world. You will be able to full experience of the modern-day Chinese influence in the city.

Stop 8
Your daytrip will end here, your hide will help you to return to the city centre.

Meeting Point Instructions
Si Phraya - Chao Phraya Express Pier.
You can reach Si Phraya Pier easily by take the BTS Train to Tak Sin Station, then catch the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Icon Siam (Boat Flag colour, Green, Yellow, Gold). Or you can take the taxi to the Chao Phraya Express Pier, it's just right the next door of the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel.
