Stop 1
Our accredited guide will meet you at your contacted location or certain hotel or at our parking lot at serena hotel (around stone town only)the tour will start by visiting various historical areas including The old fort, House of wonders, Freddie Mercury House, Darajani Market, Spice Bazaars, Forodhani Gardens and the Anglican Cathedral slavery church.

We will be able to see the areas (caves) were slaves were kept before being transferred from one area to another.

Here we will visit the six palaces built by the second sultan of Zanzibar, it was a tallest landmark building in the heart of Stone town.

We will visit a home park which is a fantastic open air-food market, where locals and tourists stroll amongst the many different vendors to try the wide variety of cuisines.

The market is located in Darajani Road, in the surroundings of the Anglican Cathedral of Christ. The main structure of the market was built in 1904 by Bomanjee Maneckjee, for Sultan Ali bin Hamud. It was later extended and restored. It was a hub for the trade of both spices and human beings. The ruling sultanate had a close relationship with the British; in 1890, Zanzibar became a British protectorate. The Zanzibari Omanis rebelled against British rule in 1896.
