On this self-guided walking tour, you’ll discover the remarkable story of ABBA, from their humble beginnings to global superstardom. You’ll see the places that shaped their career, learn about their creative process, and hear fascinating anecdotes about the group that conquered the world with their tunes.
This tour starts at Kungsträdgården, where Stockholmers gathered in 2024 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s Eurovision victory. As you stroll through Stockholm’s harbor area, you’ll learn how Benny, Björn, Agnetha, and Frida met and formed the group that would sell millions of records worldwide.
You’ll hear stories about their creative process in a summer house in the Stockholm archipelago, and discover the surprising connection between ABBA and a Swedish fish factory. The tour ends near the National Museum.

This tour follows a set route and includes turn-by-turn directions. It works best if you start it in the right place and follow the directions from one location to the next.
When the download completes, you’ll see a screen with a photo of the starting point and directions to it. The red start button will become active when you are at the starting point.
