Itinerary

Stop 1

Walk around and take photos of the futuristic buildings and structures. Famous Valencian architect, Calatrava.

Stop 2

After the City of Arts and Sciences you will be taken on a panoramic drive of the city. You will finish the driving tour at the Serranos towers which is the ancient entrance gate to the city. Learn the history and climb the tower for some great views.

Stop 3

Try a refreshing local non-alcoholic beverage called Horchata. Famous from Valencia. Made with tiger nuts grown exclusively in Europe in the farming region surrounding the city. Served with a traditional local pastry. Milky, nutty taste which is really unique.

Stop 4

Skip the queue and visit inside the cathedral with your guide. Discover some legendary relics including the resting place of the Holy Grail cup which is on display. Also wander the Plaza del Virgin next to the cathedral for some great street vibes of the old quarter.

Stop 5

A circular and beautiful plaza, a unique hidden gem filled with traditional shops.

Stop 6

Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and aromas of the Mercado Central, one of Europe’s largest and most vibrant fresh food markets.

Stop 7

Just across the street stands the magnificent Lonja de la Seda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former silk exchange. You will tour inside the building and learn how important it was in making Valencia rich in its golden age of the 15th century.

Stop 8

We finish your tour at the grand Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the city’s bustling main square lined with elegant buildings and lively cafés. Here you can decide if you would like to stay and explore more on your own or ask your guide to escort you to a taxi to get you back to the ship.
