Itinerary

Stop 1

Let's go see the wonders of nature... Famous because of the movie Wonder Woman. The 10 kilometers long natural white dunes. If the weather conditions permit, we will also have an extra photo stop on the natural corral dunes If time left we stop on the dunes.

The oldest and first capital of the Canadian Islands. Your local guide will tell you all about it.

Authentic Canarian Cuisine: Lunch on Volcanic Beaches A lunch at a traditional Canarian restaurant on a jet-black volcanic beach offers a unique combination of gastronomy and nature. The Canary Islands archipelago is known for its impressive volcanic landscapes and a rich, pure culinary culture. Local gastronomy excels in simplicity and the high quality of daily fresh products, with a leading role for fresh fish, local goat meat, and artisanal cheeses.

Stop 5

The church=The Ermita de la Virgen de la Peña in Betancuria area ( Vega de Rio Palmas) refers to two distinct but deeply connected religious sites in Fuerteventura honoring the Virgen de la Peña (the Virgin of the Rock), who is the patron saint of the island. Info: The church is an 18th-century (1769) building built by agreement among the island's residents, who decided to build a new church in honor of their patron saint, the Virgin of Our Lady of the Rock. The church is a single-nave building with a hipped roof and a vestry attached to the gospel side, also with a hipped roof. Limestones are very present. We drive through typical and characteristic villages & the 7 km long natural lava park Malpaís Grande.

Stop 7

AN other great Panoramic View on this daytrip. From the Las Peñitas viewpoint, in Betancuria, you will see an evocative view: a green oasis in the middle of the desert. The underground river that flows under the Las Peñitas ravine is created by human hands and forms a small lake dotted with native plants. The open esplanade of the viewpoint is the perfect place for taking quality photos. Home of the local inhabitants, the chipmunks.

Stop 8

The Sicasumbre Viewpoint, located about 300 meters above sea level, is one of the best sky-gazing spots on the island. The beauty of the area is perfectly combined with the facilities offered at the viewpoint, from information via signage to mounts so those who wish can comfortably use their cameras and telescopes. Pierre says: A panoramic & stunning viewpoint on clear cloudy free days. We will stop there if the weather conditions are favorable!

Stop 9

We drive past the young capital(1862), actually through the center and along the most important port in Fuerteventura. We have a photo stop on the port and the lovely beach playa chica … If high tide we go to the natural swimming pool of the El Charco neighborhood in Puerto del Rosario!! The guide will of course also tell you the very interesting stories here.

Stop 10

Caleta de Fuste and his”campo de Golfs” The second biggest holiday resort in Fuerteventura… We're also going to explore the city a bit! Your guide will tell you all about it …
