Itinerary

Stop 1

Meeting point in Porto

Stop 2

Our first stop on the trip, takes us to the small town of Amarante, here, we will visit the picturesque center of the city characterized by the River Tâmega that passes right in the middle of it and with its huge church marking the landscape. Enjoy some free time to visit it and taste a coffee with some typical candy, we resume our journey towards the Douro Valley.

Stop 3

After lunch, on one of the most scenic roads (national road 222) right along the river Douro, we will arrive at Villa do Pinhão where we will have the opportunity to experience a river cruise enjoying one of the most beautiful views of the Douro valley. From there we will have another great experience in another Adega Premium with more wine tasting.

Stop 4

We will take you to a premium winery along the river Douro, here we will visit a wine producer and learn how the wine is made and why Douro wines have unique characteristics.

Stop 5

Fluvial Cruise

To get to our incredible Douro Valley we will cross one of the longest tunnels of Portugal (Tunnel do Marão) the cuts through the Marão mountain range, we can call them, the natural border to enter the Douro Valley. We will notice the beautiful terraces filled with vineyards in a breathtaking man-shaped landscape.
