Stop 1
As we journey through the heart of the Douro Valley, our van takes you on a panoramic drive through the picturesque village of Pinhão, often regarded as one of the most charming spots in the region. Nestled between terraced vineyards and the gentle curves of the Douro River, Pinhão offers stunning views at every turn. This peaceful ride allows guests to admire the traditional wine estates, the iconic railway station adorned with azulejos, and the timeless beauty of a village shaped by wine and history.
2
Stop 2
In the enchanting surroundings of Pinhão, guests are welcomed to a traditional Douro Valley wine estate, where time-honoured practices meet the richness of the region’s terroir. This visit offers a deep dive into the winemaking heritage of the valley, guided by passionate hosts who share the stories behind each bottle. From vineyard to cellar, guests enjoy an intimate experience that includes tastings of both dry and Port wines, all produced on-site with care and authenticity.

Stop 3
One of the most peaceful and memorable moments of the day is a private boat journey along the Douro River, departing from the scenic Cais de Bagaúste. Aboard a little vessel, guests glide gently between vineyard-covered slopes and historic wine estates, enjoying a fresh perspective of the valley’s natural splendour. The boat is reserved exclusively for our group, ensuring a tranquil and intimate atmosphere. During the ride, a regional cocktail and local snacks are served. A perfect toast to the Douro’s beauty and serenity.
4
Stop 4
In the quiet village of Sande, between Régua and Lamego, we are welcomed at Quinta dos Novais — a small, family-run estate devoted to organic and sustainable wine production. Here, in a relaxed and rural setting, guests enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch prepared with seasonal ingredients and local flavours. Each course is thoughtfully paired with the estate’s own wines, offering a true taste of the Douro Valley. The experience concludes with a regional dessert served alongside a tawny Port, creating a perfect harmony between the food, the wines, and the welcoming atmosphere of the Quinta.

Stop 5
A special moment of the day is our stop at the Miradouro de São Cristóvão, one of the most stunning viewpoints in the Douro region. From this peaceful hilltop, guests are treated to sweeping views over the meandering Douro River, framed by centuries-old vineyards that trace the curves of the valley. It’s the perfect place to pause, take in the silence and beauty of the landscape, and capture unforgettable photographs of one of Portugal’s most iconic wine regions.
