Overview

Start this unique experience with a 2-hour tour on a traditional Rabelo boat, sailing smoothly across the majestic Douro River to Tua. Along the way, let yourself be enchanted by rocked vineyards, dramatic hills and scenery of rare beauty, perfect for capturing memorable images.

After the boat tour, enjoy free time for lunch at your own pace (lunch not included), with the possibility of following our local suggestions for an authentic meal.

The experience continues with a visit to a historic Quinta, where you will have the opportunity to walk among the vineyards, get to know the traditional methods of production and taste some of the best wines of the Douro.

The tour also includes a visit to the iconic Pinhão Railway Station, famous for its tiles that portray the history of the region, and a stop at one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Douro.

Itinerary

Stop 1

Meet our team at the Douro Tours Meeting Point 30 minutes before your cruise departure. It will be at this location that our team will confirm your Reservation and explain the location of the pier.

Stop 2

Start the tour with a tour in Barco Rabelo in the direction of Tua of about 2 hours (go and return)

Stop 3

FREE TIME: After the boat tour, you will have some free time for lunch, strolling by the pier, among other activities to your taste. Lunch is not included in this activity. After this hour and a half, you should meet with us again at the same meeting place (time to match with the Team).

Stop 4

After your free time, your Guide will be at the meeting point waiting for you, ready to take you from mini-van to Quinta!

Stop 5

DE wine tasting in a Quinta. Includes the visit to Quinta, with Guide, and the Destroy DE 3 Wines.

Stop 6

Visit the famous Pinhão railway station, with its tiles telling the history of the region.

Stop 7

Visit one of the most beautiful Miradouros in the region
