Welcome to the Moorish Castle, an ancient fortress perched atop the Sintra Mountains. Built during the Moorish occupation, its sturdy walls and towers tell stories of battles and military strategy. From its ramparts, enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills stretching all the way to the sea. Please note that this will be only a brief stop — we will not visit the castle’s interior, and entrance tickets are not included.

Your experience includes the Essential Ticket, with access to the palace interior and surrounding park. Piriquita Pastry Shop is a landmark in the charming town of Sintra, Portugal. Founded in 1862, this traditional bakery is famous for its delicious treats, especially the iconic travesseiros and queijadas. Located in the heart of Sintra, Piriquita attracts both tourists and locals with the irresistible aroma of its freshly baked pastries. The travesseiros, made with crisp puff pastry and filled with a rich egg cream, are a beloved specialty. Next, we’ll explore Sintra’s historic centre on foot, walking through its charming and emblematic streets. We’ll stop at Piriquita — one of the most famous pastry shops in the world — where you can taste the region’s unique traditional sweets. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a ginjinha and browse local and internationally renowned artisan crafts.

During the journey through Sintra, we’ll make a 15-minute stop for photos outside the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira. At this point, your guide will share fascinating stories about its history and symbolism. To ensure the day’s itinerary runs smoothly, please note that only the exterior visit is included. Interior access is not possible on this tour.

The Monserrate Palace is a 19th-century architectural gem in the Sintra Mountains, blending Gothic Revival, Moorish, and Indian styles. Commissioned by Sir Francis Cook in 1858, it dazzles with its exotic façades and lush gardens filled with plants from around the world. A brief stop at one of the most famous beaches along the Sintra–Cascais coastline, where golden sands meet the powerful Atlantic waves. Enjoy a few moments to admire the breathtaking scenery, feel the ocean breeze, and capture memorable photos of this iconic coastal gem.
