Itinerary

Stop 1

Your adventure begins at Rossio Train Station, a stunning 19th-century landmark with its fairytale-like Manueline arches. Stepping inside feels like entering another era, setting the perfect tone for your magical journey to Sintra.

Stop 2

Upon arrival at the station of Sintra, you can already spot the impressive Moorish Castle on the hill.

Stop 3

Our first stop is at Pastelaria Gregório, a cozy local gem where we kick off the day with a fresh coffee and a delicious regional pastry. It’s the perfect moment to soak in the local flavors and get ready for the adventure! There, we also pick up the e-bikes.

Stop 4

This is a monument on the north side of Jardim Correnteza and is dedicated to those who served during the Great War.

Stop 5

The Moorish Fountain (Fonte Mourisca) is located along Volta do Duche. This is a beautiful public fountain designed by José da Fonseca (1922) and embraces Moorish features and designs.

Stop 6

The Pelourinho de Sintra is a stone pillory located in the heart of Sintra’s old town, symbolizing the town’s former municipal authority and autonomy.

Stop 7

Riding through Sintra’s charming streets, you’ll pass by the National Palace, a stunning landmark with its iconic twin chimneys.

Stop 8

Quinta da Regaleira is a mystical estate in Sintra known for its enchanting gardens, underground tunnels, and the famous Initiation Well.

Stop 9

Palácio de Seteais is a beautiful neoclassical palace in Sintra, built in the 18th century and later turned into a luxury hotel. It’s known for its grand architecture, romantic atmosphere, history, and amazing views over the Sintra Mountains.

Stop 10

The route takes you through scenic forest roads, offering breathtaking views of Sintra’s landscape. You'll pass by Monserrate Palace, a hidden gem in the forest.

Stop 11

Next, you will take a well-deserved break at a typical local restaurant. (Lunch is included, featuring the traditional Portuguese cuisine. If you have any dietary restrictions, adjustments can be made to ensure you enjoy your meal. Vegan, gluten free and dairy free options are available.)

Stop 12

This is a beautiful, colorful, and famous ancient palace on top of one of Sintra´s hills. At Pena Palace, you'll visit its beautiful gardens, where you’ll be guided through its paths, and breathtaking viewpoints.
