Itinerary

Stop 1
Your tour will begin with transport from Krakow to Zakopane Town. Pickup by car or minivan from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 2 hours.

Stop 2
A trip to Zakopane is a full-day trip lasting with transport around 9 to 10 hours. As part of the trip you will visit the most important tourist places of Zakopane, including: the city center, Gubałówka hill with a cable car from which there is a view of the Polish Tatra Mountains, a wooden village where traditional smoked sheep cheese, ski jumps and many other places related to architecture and culture of this part of Poland.

Stop 3
The village of Chochołów is famous for its wooden buildings. The houses in the village look almost identical. It is a tradition in this village to wash houses with soapy water, two pieces of advice a year during Christmas and before Easter.

Stop 4
In the village of Chochołów it will be possible to see the wooden architecture characteristic of this part of Poland. Highlanders - local settlers, produce cheese called "Oscypek" in this region of Poland. It is smoked cheese made from sheep's milk. The wooden houses where this cheese is produced are called "Bacówkach". Thanks to a trip to this place, you will be able to try this cheese with shot of polish vodka, as well as hear about how it is produced.

Stop 5
In Zakopane, you will visit the most popular street Krupówki, which is a peculiar market of the city and its central point. Krupówki street is crowded with tourists who visit shops and go to restaurants located along the street. On this street you can find many traditional highlander items to buy, such as clothes and souvenirs, but also to eat.

Stop 6
One of the main sightseeing points will be a funicular ride up the Gubałówka hill. The bottom station is located at one of the ends of Krupówki Street. After reaching the summit by terrain cable car, you will see beautiful views of Polish Tatra Mountains. There are also various tourist attractions as well as local restaurants, cafes and bars where you will be able to try e.g. mulled wine and relax with a beautiful view.

Terrain cable car ride to the top of the Gubałówka mountain allows a view of the beautiful range of the Polish Tatra Mountains

Stop 8
The Jaszczurówka Chapel is a perfect example of Zakopane's sacred architecture. The wooden building is over 100 years old. As part of the trip, the driver will take you to this place so that you can see this place.

Stop 9
Ski jumping in Zakopane is a long tradition of winter sports. Every year, International Ski Jumping Competition takes place in Zakopane. As part of the trip you will also be able to see this place with your own eyes.

At the end of the full-day sightseeing tour, your driver will drive you back to Krakow.
