Itinerary
1
Stop 1
After early hotel pickup in Cusco, we travel through scenic Andean valleys to the village of Cusipata. Here travelers enjoy a delicious breakfast and a short rest before continuing the journey toward the trailhead of Rainbow Mountain.

Stop 2
We continue driving through the district of Pitumarca toward the starting point of the hike. Along the way travelers enjoy beautiful views of the Vilcanota mountain range and traditional Andean landscapes before beginning the trek.

Stop 3
From the trailhead we begin a moderate hike of approximately one hour to reach Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain or Montaña de Siete Colores. At the viewpoint travelers can admire the spectacular natural colors created by mineral deposits and enjoy breathtaking views of the Andes and the surrounding Vilcanota mountain range.

Stop 4
After descending from Rainbow Mountain we return to Cusipata where travelers enjoy a buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco.
