Itinerary

Stop 1
Enjoy an excellent day getting to know several of the most interesting sites in Cusco within the sacred valley. Start this tour in the Chinchero district, learning about Alpaca wool and its process to dye it and turn it into clothing.

Stop 2
Then visit Moray, also known as the Inca laboratory. This wonderful place with the shape of an inverted cone was used to acclimatize plants to altitude and climate. In this place the Incas created thousands of varieties of potatoes so that they are able to grow in different climates.

Stop 3
The tour ends with a visit to the salt mines of Maras where all travelers will have the opportunity to buy the famous Maras salt, but also have a tasting of the different types of salt that are in the area. During the tour, the guide will explain the history and interesting facts of each place and will give time for travelers to walk alone and take pictures.
