Overview
Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is also known as Ghorepani Trek or Ghorepani Ghandruk Circuit Trek. It is Nepal's most popular and easy trek which locates in the Annapurna Region. It is perfect for every people who want a short trek or who have limited time.
Poonhill trek is the most popular as it only takes 5-6 days and the maximum altitude is only 3210m. By a challenging climb of 3300 steps up to Ulleri. Then trek along the beautiful Bhurungdi Stream and fields of rice, millet, and wheat. In the thick forest, you may see monkeys and birds. In the biggest Ghandruk village where the brave Gurkha soldiers are born and live, there is a magnificent cultural Gurung museum. You will experience the hospitality there. The final day you will trek along the Modi River that carries ice water from the Annapurna Sanctuary that pours into the Ganges River in India. Trekking through the rhododendron forests that bloom with red, pink and white flowers in Spring.
