Manaslu Circuit Trek
Overview
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a challenging and rewarding trekking route located in the Manaslu Conservation Area of Nepal. It encircles Mount Manaslu, the eighth-highest mountain in the world, offering trekkers a chance to experience the rugged beauty of the Himalayas while also exploring the unique culture and traditions of the region.
The trek usually takes around 10 to 14 days to complete and covers a distance of approximately 177 kilometers (110 miles). The journey begins in the town of Soti Khola, following the course of the Budhi Gandaki River through lush forests, terraced fields, and remote villages.
As trekkers ascend, they encounter diverse landscapes, from subtropical valleys to alpine meadows and barren high-altitude terrain.
