Mratinje Dam: The drive to the trailhead itself is scenic, passing the impressive Mratinje Dam, one of Europe's highest. You'll get stunning views of the turquoise Piva Lake, Montenegro's largest artificial lake, nestled within the deep canyon. This is often the first "wow" moment of the day. Piva River Canyon: Mention the dramatic cliffs and the unique greenish-blue color of the Piva River/Lake, a hallmark of this region.

From Plužine, drive to Mratinje village. Follow the main asphalt road 1.3km through the village to a T-junction. Turn left onto the gravel track (suitable for all vehicles). Continue ~400m to a small village. Park on the grass by the seated shelter and stream crossing the road.
