Leaving the mysteries of Ek-Balam behind, we head to the evocative Ex-Hacienda Kaan Ac, located in the picturesque Pueblo Mágico of Valladolid. This hacienda not only reveals the daily life of the landowners and the harsh reality of the indigenous Mayans during the colony, but also keeps the moving legend of Leonel and Berenguela. These two young lovers tragically discovered that they were blood brothers, and their story of forbidden love and sacrifice resonates in every corner of the hacienda. As you tour the majestic gardens and main house, you will learn about the history of "green gold" in Yucatan and the brutal exploitation of Mayan workers. In this historic environment, you will enjoy a box lunch in the shade of a ceiba tree and surrounded by the beauty of the Yucatecan jungle.
