The Blue World Initiative
Overview
An authentic eco-tourism social impact scientific activity for explorers. During the exclusive private full day cruise offshore and in the lagoon, our oceanographer will provide you with detailed information about the unique marine biodiversity of Mauritius. Covering offshore species (including whales, dolphins, seabirds) and lagoon ecosystem species (including corals, seagrass and fish) and the impacts of climate change, the scientific information collected will be used for marine conservation activities while 10% of the proceeds from the cruise will be transferred to an NGO for additional community based sensitisation activities.
