Overview
During this private walking tour, travelers will experience the uniqueness of the Maltese capital city, admire the beautifully preserved medieval buildings and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the Upper Barrakka Gardens.
Travelers will walk past the main landmarks which the vibrant city of Valletta has to offer such as the New Parliament Building, Republic Street, Castille Square, Merchants Street, the Upper Barrakka Gardens and the old market.
The guide will explain the history behind the imposing facades of several of the impressive monuments and intricately designed architectural buildings. Then travelers will access the Museum of Fine Arts, St. John`s Co-Cathedral, Casa Rocca Piccola and Fort St. Elmo.

The guide will walk you by the beautiful Maltese patrimony prevalent at this Museum.

We will stroll in the beautiful Barrakka Gardens where stunning views of the Valletta Harbour can be enjoyed.

From the Upper Barrakka Gardens, we will head towards the St. John’s Co-Cathedral, you can see the painting ‘The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist’ by Caravaggio. Our tour guide will run you through the majestic beauty of this religious place.

After a short break, we will be Visiting the Lascaris War Rooms, a fascinating underground complex beneath Valletta that served as the secret Allied HQ during WWII. We will explore original operations rooms, wartime equipment, and immersive exhibits detailing key moments like the planning of the 1943 invasion of Sicily. A must-see for history enthusiasts and a unique glimpse into Malta’s pivotal wartime role.
