Stop 1

Travel from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving late morning. Time is spent enjoying the lakeside environment and observing birdlife and resident wildlife along the shores. A boat ride across Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island is included, offering close views of waterbirds and grazing wildlife in a peaceful, open setting. Time is allowed to explore Crescent Island on foot at a relaxed pace. Lunch is taken at a lakeside restaurant (at own expense) before continuing to Hell’s Gate National Park. Stop 2

Continue to Hell’s Gate National Park for an afternoon visit exploring its open landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and geothermal features. Depending on conditions and traveler preference, time may be spent on a guided drive or optional cycling within designated areas of the park. Wildlife sightings may include plains game and birdlife, with scenery and geological formations being a primary highlight. After the visit, begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening depending on traffic.
