Stop 1
Home Visit The First stop which is the main stop is home Visit where we will welcome you inside one of the residential houses here in the slum to let you learn more about our way of life like how we get water, electricity, bathroom system, typical house size and so on. Curio/Souvenir Shop Explore a variety of handmade African crafts and souvenirs—offered at fair, regular, transparent, and fixed prices. Every item is clearly marked with a price tag. No bargaining, no inflated prices—just honest value. Kibera handcraft Center You will witness how locals recycle and upcycle materials to make jewelry and other handmade items. Community Based School Proceed to one of the community based School run with the donations from well wishers which is a real highlight of Kibera schools. You will then be escorted back to your car and be dropped back at your Nairobi Hotel/Airport.
