Address: Lawson convenience store (located on the 1st floor of the Hotel Oriental Fukuoka Hakata Station, in front of the Hakata Station Chikushi Exit) Departs at 08:00 Please exit from the Chikushi Entrance of Hakata Station. Please arrive at the location 10 mins before the departure time

Stop 3
Kumamoto Castle is one of Japan’s most impressive and beloved historic fortresses, known for its towering black walls, elegant architecture, and beautifully restored keep. Visitors can explore the castle grounds, enjoy panoramic views of Kumamoto City, and learn about its samurai history. Admission is 800 yen for high school students and older, 300 yen for junior high and elementary students, and free for preschool children. Please note that some areas may be closed or adjusted depending on weather or attraction capacity.

Stop 4
Kumamon’s Office—also known as Kumamon Square—is the lively home of Kumamoto Prefecture’s beloved mascot, Kumamon. Here, you can view fun displays, browse exclusive merchandise, and even catch scheduled performances featuring the famous bear. This attraction is free to enter, but you will need to walk there on your own, which takes about 30 minutes round trip. Please manage your time carefully. As with other stops, some experiences may be unavailable due to capacity limits or weather conditions.

Stop 5
To explore the dramatic Mt. Aso Naka-dake First Crater, one of Japan’s most active volcanic sites. Visitors can observe the vast caldera, steaming vents, and dynamic landscape shaped by continuous volcanic activity. Crater access depends on real-time safety conditions, and the itinerary may be adjusted if entry is restricted. Please be aware that toxic volcanic gases can pose serious risks to individuals with asthma, bronchiectasis, or heart conditions, and entry is strictly prohibited for these guests. Weather or capacity limitations may also affect access.

Stop 6
Visit to the Aso area, you can enjoy the wide, open landscapes of Kusasenri, one of the most scenic spots on Mount Aso. This vast grassland features sweeping volcanic plains, grazing horses, and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks—making it an ideal location for photography and peaceful nature walks. Admission to Kusasenri is free, though optional activities such as horseback riding may require additional fees. Please note that weather conditions or capacity limitations may affect accessibility or visibility during your visit.

Stop 7
The Aso area, you may also visit the Aso Volcano Museum, an informative facility that explains the history, geology, and ongoing activity of Mount Aso. The museum features engaging exhibits, large-scale models, volcanic footage, and educational displays that help visitors understand how this powerful caldera was formed. Admission is not included and costs approximately 880 yen per person (subject to change). As always, access or operations may be affected by weather conditions or attraction capacity.

Stop 8
To explore Aso Roadside Station, a popular stop offering a variety of local specialties and fresh regional products. Visitors can browse seasonal vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy items, handmade bento boxes, and unique Aso souvenirs. Admission is free, allowing you to freely explore the marketplace and enjoy a quick break before the return journey. Please note that available items may vary depending on the season and daily stock.
