Tucked away in the serene landscapes of Uji City, Uji Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine with deep spiritual and cultural significance. Often visited alongside its neighboring site, Ujigami Shrine, Uji Shrine is believed to have been established during the Heian period, making it one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan.
