Start at a 120-year-old Senbei shop just beside Sanjo Ohashi, where so much history can be discovered. “Time Travel” by passing a tiny alleyway on the side of Pontocho to get to the first sake tasting stop

Stop 2

Stroll down a lively yet elegant street, filled with charming drinking spots, as you head to your first destination. Along the way, you’ll learn about the rich history of the area and immerse yourself in the energetic side of Kyoto. Begin your evening with the first sake tasting, paired with mouthwatering tapas, setting the stage for your sake journey. You’ll also dive into the sake-making tradition of Kyoto, gaining essential knowledge of the different types of sake before continuing your adventure.

Stop 3

Take a leisurely walk along Kyoto’s iconic river area, feeling the breeze and soaking in the serene atmosphere. Learn a bit about Kyoto’s performing arts culture as you stroll. Your second stop features a Kyoto local dish paired with another glass of sake (or another recommended drink of your choice), offering a perfect break before the grand finale of your drinking adventure.

Stop 4

Wander through the non-crowded, secret Geisha town, and experience the magical atmosphere of Kyoto. As you stroll, you’ll learn about the Maiko/Geiko culture and the elegant architecture that defines the city.
