This tour propose to see the sea of Kamakura city from 4 different points, presenting the history and famous personages of this old city founded at the end of 12th century.
Early in the morning, you can seize the structure of the city with main monuments, so that you will be enable to fully enjoy your stay in Kamakura.

Sakanoshita is a beautiful seaside area of Kamakura city, near the Great Buddha and Hase Kannon.
Why these two monuments are rather far from the center of the city ? Yet, why they are so close each other?
You will discover some personages once lived there in the 12th and 13th century.

Itinerary

Stop 1

One part of beach of Kamakura, the first capital of Samurai ruling government in Japanese history, built in at the end of 12th century.

Stop 2

Temple built by a Samurai ruler who established the first Samurai laws, whose landscape from the entrance is one the figure of Kamakura city.

Stop 3

Including Gokurakuji Station, we present the previous territory of Gokurakuji temple, who chief mont was a great personage of 13th century in the medical and construction fields.

Stop 4

Site from where Gokurakuji controlled the Yuigahama Beach of Kamakura city in Middle Ages

Stop 5

We go to the stone stall of the poetry composed by a Shogun, understanding his aspirations and failures.
