Itinerary

Stop 1
Once you meet your guide, you will be taken to the island by bus and boat. Enjoy an elegant boat ride while taking in the oceanic scenery.

Stop 2
The eastern part of Ainoshima is lined with distinctive tombs that are believed to be the resting places of powerful families who were involved with the island in ancient times. These tombs are piled up with stones and built right on the beach.

Stop 3
The area near the fishing port of Aijima is the only village on the island. It is home not only to people, but also to numerous cats. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the port town and the culture of the remote island while interacting with the cats.

Stop 4
In the western part of the island, there is a stone enshrined with a deity that evokes Japanese beliefs. Learn about the island's culture through this distinctive worship experience.

From the island, the boat will return to the Kyushu mainland.
