Stop 1
The sanctuary was built in a cave where in 1624 the sheets of the patron saint of the city, Santa Rosalia were found.

Stop 2
Monte Pellegrino is the sacred mountain of Palermo overlooking the Mondello sea. It is about 609 meters high and it is possible to climb it via an asphalted road, excellent for traveling with road bikes or MTBs and an old road that is used by pilgrims to reach the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia on foot. The mountain is part of the Favorita Park and is rich in vegetation and caves. Goethe called it >.
